If we live videos
I made these videos, with love for the “If we live” project. the following songs are “Jenny make ’em clap”, sang by Jenny Möller, and “Free we is”, sang by Nichelle Monroe, both songs as well as the rest of the album were produced by Kevin T. Williams. I produced the videos, directed, shot, edited, and had a blast.
“If we live” is a community effort led by Kevin T. Williams, to raise awareness and help support the “Stand up to cancer” organization.
It was a joy working with everyone to make these happen, Special thanks to Jenny Moller, Nichelle Monroe and of course Kevin T. Williams, you’re awesome!
So make some fresh popcorn, it’s showtime ;)
The “If we live” project CD is now available from CD Baby, Go there and get your copy. All proceeds go to ‘Stand Up To Cancer’.

Well, It’s a double feature for me this month.
My Facebook profile images are at the top of Janine Warner‘s article, appearing this month (March 2014) on Photoshop user magazine and on layersmagazine.com.
The article titled “Attracting Friends with a Fabulous Facebook Design” came out a couple of weeks ago, You can read it here.
I was very happy to hear from Janine Warner when she contacted me. Janine told me she wanted to feature some versions of my Facebook profile, as her main example in a few publications, to show how professional photographers can use their Facebook profile.
I hardly ever give myself a tap on the shoulder, but It’s always fun to hear other people’s appreciation of what I do.
Here are a few excerpts from my messaging with Janine, in her own words:
…” My co-author and I are writing to you because we think your Facebook page design is awesome/fabulous/makes us jealous, and we want to feature you in a new book that we are writing”…
…” to showcase your profile as a shining example of all that is good, true and right about the social web… or at least a great example of a Facebook design.”
…” With your permission, we’ll publish a screenshot of the Cover design area of your profile in full color and use it to call more attention to the wonderful work that you’ve done”…
…” Well, you are certainly a great example. I was just checking again and we actually used two shots of your covers to show that a photographer like you can change images regularly to showcase your talent. Thanks for being such a great example”…
…” You’re welcome to say you’ll be featured in “Social Media Design For Dummies”, and you can throw in that we think you’re very talented!”…
Janine Warner’s best-selling books and videos about the Internet have won her an international following and earned her speaking and consulting engagements around the world. She’s the creator of DigitalFamily.com, an interactive design, and training agency that offers web and mobile design, content strategy, and … more…
You can learn and get many web and social design tips on Janine’s site, such as, What size should you make your Facebook photos?
You can’t find a better teacher.
The excellent “Social Media Design For Dummies”
is now available! I’m featured on pages 88 and 89…
I’d like to talk about Intention in Headshot photography.
There are many aspects I keep in mind through a headshot photography session.
because every person is unique, the most interesting aspect for me is working with my subject, to get the desired expressions.
My job as a headshot photographer is to lay out the ground on which my subject’s character can flourish and manifest itself so I can capture it. It’s very important for the subject to have intention behind their expression, that’s what I’m looking for in my sessions.
Light and composition are fundamentals and are second nature to me, I check them constantly and press the shutter only if both are perfect, as well as making sure that the background is just that and doesn’t have any attention grabbing elements.
While Light and composition have to do with aesthetics, they are mostly technical, and since I’m very experienced, I always make it work first, so I can concentrate in my subject, this is really what it’s all about.
I find Liron Levo’s shots above, a great example of Intention in Headshot photography, each one captures a moment that represent a character with intention.

A horse foal was born
This Sunday I had a special treat, a horse foal was born. This baby horse was born just a few hours earlier. It was a “Bambi” moment for me when I went to see the newborn princess.
I like driving out-of-town to visit friends. I like walking in nature, enjoying the views and the animals, taking pictures of all I find interesting. This trip was very rewarding, cuteness ruled the day.
If you like these images as much as I do and want them on your wall, you can get them here
A few months ago, I was asked to shoot Frank Bruynbroek’s portrait for his upcoming book called Compawssion it is a project he has been working on for the last 15 years, as well I was asked to shoot and edit a short teaser for the book.
Frank’s passion for photography and his love and compassion for dogs have culminated in a beautiful book of photographs of rescued dogs, and I was happy to take part in it.
You can read more about Frank here.
